Frequently asked questions
What does Marson Labs do?
Marson Labs builds AI tools for small and mid-size manufacturers. The tools take purchase order entry, quoting and ERP lookups off your team's plate. We set them up inside the ERP and email you already use, run them for you, and a person on your team approves every order before it posts.
Who is Marson Labs for?
US manufacturers, roughly 20 to 150 employees, that take customer orders by email, PDF or spreadsheet and enter them into an ERP by hand.
Can AI enter purchase orders into my ERP?
Yes. The AI reads POs from email, PDFs and spreadsheets, matches each line to your part numbers and prices, and flags anything that doesn't match. After a person approves, the order posts to your ERP.
What happens when the AI gets something wrong?
It flags anything it isn't sure about, like an unknown part number or a price that doesn't match. Nothing posts to your ERP until a person reviews and approves it.
Which ERPs do you work with?
If your ERP can import orders from a file, has an API, or has a database we can read, we can connect to it. We confirm this for your system on the first call.
Do I need to replace my ERP or learn new software?
No. The tools work with the ERP, inbox and spreadsheets you already use.
Who owns the setup and the data?
You do. Everything runs in your own accounts, keys included.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your order volume and which systems we connect. You get the price in writing, in your plan, before any work starts.
How long does setup take?
It depends on your ERP and how many systems are involved. Your written plan includes a timeline before any work starts.
Do you work with manufacturers outside my area?
Yes. We serve manufacturers anywhere in the US, fully remote.
Is Marson Labs the same as the Marson Lab at UCSF?
No. Marson Labs is an AI automation company for manufacturers. It is not affiliated with the Marson Lab at UCSF.
